In Friday's league contest, the host Keokuk Chiefs basketball team scored a big 75-48 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Panthers.
The Chiefs (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Bloodhounds go into the Southeast contest with a 8-8 record.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 6-13 record after their 45-34 non-league loss to Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA).
