In Friday's league test, the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) basketball squad got by the visiting Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX), by a score of 47-42.
Next, the Panthers encounter the Shoemaker Wolves (Killeen, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Midway will attempt to improve on its 14-16 season record. The Wolves come into the test with a 16-14 record after their 67-66 league loss to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX).
The Kangaroos (5-21) will now prepare for their test against Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX). The Knights come into the 6A Region II District 12 test with a 25-9 record. In their last test, Harker Heights held off Texas Lions HomeSchool (Austin, TX), 83-79, in a non-league test.
