North Carolina High School Basketball - North Gaston knocked off by Kings Mountain

February 7, 2025: Dallas, NC 28034

In Friday's league test, the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), by a score of 62-46.

Next, the Mountaineers encounter the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Big South test, on Tuesday, February 11. Kings Mountain will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 9-13 record after their 65-48 league loss to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).

The Wildcats (6-16) will now prepare for their test against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Greenwave come into the 3A Big South test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Ashbrook beat Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 65-48, in a league test.
