The La Feria Lions basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Port Isabel Tarpons to 43 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 22-7 record. They play next when they host Grulla for a 4A Region IV District 32 game on Monday, February 10. La Feria will confront a Gators team coming off a 65-54 league loss to Jubilee Brownsville (Brownsville, TX). The Gators record now stands at 3-24.

With the loss, Port Isabel falls to 15-13 on the campaign. The Tarpons host Valley View (Pharr, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Region IV District 32 game on Monday, February 10. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-18. Valley View lost 56-43 in their recent league game against Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX)
