Maryland High School Basketball - Lackey nips McDonough

February 7, 2025: Pomfret, MD 20675

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lackey Chargers basketball team scored a close 72-68 win over the McDonough Rams.

The Chargers (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles come into the Southern Maryland contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, North Point was tipped by Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD), 60-56, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a Southern Maryland contest, on Wednesday, February 12. McDonough will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 13-5 record after their 66-55 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
