Minnesota High School Basketball - Nevis overwhelms Laporte

The Nevis Tigers basketball team scored 94 points and limited the host Laporte Wildcats to 18 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 20-3 record. They play next when they host Mahnomen/Waubun for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Nevis will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 68-45 non-league loss to Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (Twin Valley, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 6-13.
With the loss, Laporte falls to 3-19 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN) to confront the Thunder in a A Section 5 game on Monday, February 10. The Thunder go into the game with a record of 1-18. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle lost 79-42 in their recent non-league game against Browerville (Browerville, MN)
