The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO) and the host Lathrop Mules (Lathrop, MO), observed Mid-Buchanan's basketball team overwhelm Lathrop by a score of 79-42.

The Dragons (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against East Buchanan (Gower, MO). The Bulldogs come into the KCI challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, East Buchanan trounced Penney (Hamilton, MO), 72-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mules encounter the West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) in a KCI challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Lathrop will attempt to improve on its 7-15 season record.
