The Melrose Buffaloes nipped the host Logan Longhorns basketball squad by a final score of 65-58 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Buffaloes face the Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM) in a A District 4 outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Melrose will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record. The Coyotes enter the outing with a 8-13 record after their 57-53 league win over Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM).

In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. Logan will attempt to better on its 17-3 season record.
