The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) and the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), observed Northside's basketball team knock off Lord Botetourt by a score of 83-71.

The Vikings (19-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles come into the Blue Ridge challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, Franklin County was knocked off by Fleming (Roanoke, VA), 67-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers encounter the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Lord Botetourt will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record.
