The Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) basketball crushed the host Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), 74-51 in Friday's league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 22-6 record. They play next when they host Elk Grove for a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. Niles North will play a Grenadiers team coming off a 81-36 league loss to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 3-24.
With the loss, Maine East falls to 7-18 on the campaign. The Blue demons travel to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11.
