Pennsylvania High School Basketball - McGuffey overwhelms Washington

The McGuffey Highlanders basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Washington Prexies to 36 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.
The Highlanders now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chartiers-Houston for a non-league game on Monday, February 10. McGuffey will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 49-36 league win over Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 19-2.
With the loss, Washington falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Prexies host Monessen (Monessen, PA) to confront the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 12-6. Monessen won 67-51 in their recent league game against St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA)
