Michigan High School Basketball - St. Philip Catholic Central knocks off Mendon

In Friday's league contest, the host St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers basketball team scored a good 58-39 win over the Mendon Hornets.
The Fighting Tigers (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Maple Valley was topped by Quincy (Quincy, MI), 58-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Tekonsha Indians (Tekonsha, MI) in a Southern Central - East contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Mendon will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record.
