The Stevens Point Panthers basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Merrill Bluejays to 27 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sun Prairie East for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Stevens Point will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 78-53 league loss to Vel Phillips Memorial (Madison, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-5.
With the loss, Merrill falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI) to confront the Hatchets in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Hatchets go into the game with a record of 3-14.
