The Santa Ynez Pirates basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Morro Bay Pirates to 30 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 17-8 record. They play next when they host Cabrillo for a Sunset game on Tuesday, February 11. Santa Ynez will confront a Conquistadores team coming off a 89-82 non-league win over Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA). The Conquistadores record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Morro Bay falls to 4-19 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Righetti (Santa Maria, CA) to confront the Warriors in a Sunset game on Tuesday, February 11. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 16-11. Righetti won 69-24 in their recent league game against Nipomo (Nipomo, CA)
