The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Nelson (Happy Valley, OR) and the visiting Reynolds Raiders (Troutdale, OR), observed Nelson's basketball team overwhelm Reynolds by a score of 92-42.

The (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Pioneers come into the 6A Mt. Hood challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Sandy was routed by Clackamas (Clackamas, OR), 83-64, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Reynolds will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record.
