Idaho High School Basketball - The Ambrose School can't hold off New Plymouth

February 7, 2025: New Plymouth, ID 83655

New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) fans went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team edge the visiting The Ambrose School Archers (Meridian, ID), 57-56 in a league challenge.

The Pilgrims (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Melba (Melba, ID). The Mustangs come into the 3A Western Idaho challenge with a 6-13 record. In their last challenge, Melba was tipped by Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID), 60-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Archers battle the Parma Panthers (Parma, ID) in a 3A Western Idaho challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. The Ambrose School will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 57-45 league win over Vision (Caldwell, ID).
