New Hampshire High School Basketball - Newfound Regional knocks off Prospect Mountain

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Newfound Regional Bears basketball team scored a good 60-52 win over the Prospect Mountain Timberwolves.
The Bears (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Golden Eagles come into the Division III contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Gilford was topped by Conant (Jaffrey, NH), 55-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the Berlin Mountaineers (Berlin, NH) in a Division III contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Prospect Mountain will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a 0-16 record after their 52-38 league loss to Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH).
