The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC) and the host Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC), observed Saluda's basketball team knock off Ninety Six by a score of 43-31.

The Tigers (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC). The Rebels come into the AA Region 2 challenge with a 12-11 record. In their last challenge, Strom Thurmond prevailed over Pelion (Pelion, SC), 41-22, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the American Leadership Academy Patriots (Lexington, SC) in a AA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Ninety Six will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-17 record after their 55-52 league loss to Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC).
