Colorado High School Basketball - Nucla knocks off Telluride

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Nucla Mustangs (Nucla, CO) and the host Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO), observed Nucla's basketball team overcome Telluride by a score of 66-54.

The Mustangs (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO). The Bulldogs come into the 3A/2A/1A San Juan challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Dove Creek defeated Ouray (Ouray, CO), 49-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Miners battle the Dove Creek Bulldogs (Dove Creek, CO) in a 3A/2A/1A San Juan challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Telluride will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 55-50 league win over Nucla (Nucla, CO).
