Iowa High School Basketball - Perry crushes South Hamilton

The Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) basketball crushed the visiting South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA), 88-32 in Friday's league bout.
The Bluejays now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grand View Christian for a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Tuesday, February 11. Perry will play a Thunder team coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Thunder record now stands at 17-1.
With the loss, South Hamilton falls to 0-22 on the campaign. The Hawks host Greene County (Jefferson, IA) to play the Rams in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 3-17.
Fourth Quarter
At 5:02 in the 4th, Owen Myers scored his 1,000th career point! He needed 41 points coming into the game and he got it! Also, with 3:24 left, Owen broke the school record for points in a game on a free throw scoring his 46th and 47th points of the game breaking the previous record of 45 by Brendan Ivory. Congratulations to Owen on both of these amazing achievements and an outstanding game with 47 points. Congrats Owen!!!
