In Friday's league contest, the visiting Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines basketball team scored a good 53-42 win over the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas.

The Wolverines (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Diamondbacks come into the 5A Region IV District 31 contest with a 14-18 record.

In their next game, the Javelinas battle the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest will attempt to better on its 2-20 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 14-20 record after their 65-49 league loss to Rowe (McAllen, TX).
