The Putnam County Midgets basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Scotland County Tigers to 56 in the Midgets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Midgets now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Putnam County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 44-37 league win over Albany (Albany, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 21-0.

With the loss, Scotland County falls to 11-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Knox County (Edina, MO) to confront the Eagles in a Lewis & Clark game on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-17. Knox County lost 63-55 in their recent non-league game against Brashear (Brashear, MO)
