In Friday's league contest, the visiting Wakeland Wolverines basketball team scored a good 73-65 win over the Reedy Lions.

The Wolverines (21-11) will now prepare for their contest against The Colony (The Colony, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region II District 12 contest with a 23-10 record. In their last contest, The Colony defeated Turner (Carrollton, TX), 69-57, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Reedy will attempt to better on its 12-21 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 9-21 record after their 78-27 league loss to Highland Park (Dallas, TX).
