In Friday's league contest, the host Spotswood Trailblazers basketball team scored a big 55-24 triumph over the Rocktown Raptors.
The Trailblazers (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights go into the Valley contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Turner Ashby smashed Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 49-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Raptors battle the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a Valley contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Rocktown will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 12-7 record after their 73-50 league win over Broadway (Broadway, VA).
