The Slaton Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Roosevelt Eagles to 48 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now have a 24-6 record. They play next when they travel to Dimmitt for a 3A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, February 11. Slaton will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 63-42 league win over Friona (Friona, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-17.

With the loss, Roosevelt falls to 14-14 on the campaign. The Eagles host Shallowater (Shallowater, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 3A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 15-4. Shallowater won 81-26 in their recent league game against Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX)
