The Woden Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting West Sabine Tigers to 52 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 15-17 record. They play next when they travel to San Augustine for a 2A Region III District 24 game on Monday, February 10. Woden will confront a Wolves team coming off a 59-42 league win over Hemphill (Hemphill, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 19-7.

With the loss, West Sabine falls to 8-14 on the campaign. The Tigers host Chireno (Chireno, TX) to confront the Owls in a 2A Region III District 24 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Owls go into the game with a record of 19-9. Chireno won 80-40 in their recent league game against Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX)
