The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) and the visiting Brockton Boxers (Brockton, MA), observed New Bedford's basketball team knock off Brockton by a score of 68-50.

The Whalers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Stang (North Dartmouth, MA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record.

In their next game, the Boxers encounter the Lynn English Bulldogs (Lynn, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Brockton will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
