The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Academy for Business & Tech Gators (Melvindale, MI) and the visiting Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI), observed Academy for Business & Tech's basketball team overwhelm Lakeview by a score of 47-24.

The Gators (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Robichaud (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 11-5 record.

In their next game, the Huskies encounter the Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) in a Macomb Area - Blue challenge, on Friday, February 7. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Tars come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 67-33 league win over L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI).
