The Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers (Waterford, MI) basketball were winner over the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 29-20 in Friday's league bout.

The Lakers now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Austin Catholic for a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. Our Lady of the Lakes will play a Crusaders team coming off a 48-39 non-league win over Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Academy of the Sacred Heart falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Gazelles travel to Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI) to confront the Ventures in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 12. The Ventures go into the game with a record of 0-15. Bishop Foley lost 39-38 in their recent non-league game against Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI)
