New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy triumphant over Valley

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), observed Albuquerque Academy's basketball team overwhelm Valley by a score of 71-27.

The Chargers (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies come into the 4A District 6 challenge with a 14-9 record. In their last challenge, Hope Christian trounced Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 60-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record.
