North Carolina High School Basketball - South Caldwell victorious over Alexander Central

In Friday's league contest, the visiting South Caldwell Spartans basketball team scored a good 51-42 triumph over the Alexander Central Cougars.
The Spartans (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies go into the 3A/4A Northwestern contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Ashe County was topped by Freedom (Morganton, NC), 64-62, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a 3A/4A Northwestern contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Alexander Central will attempt to better on its 13-9 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 57-45 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC).
