The Amelia County Raiders basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen to 24 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now have a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Nottoway for a James River game on Monday, February 10. Amelia County will confront a Cougars team coming off a 35-31 league loss to Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-13.

With the loss, Randolph-Henry falls to 2-15 on the year. The Statesmen travel to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league match on Monday, February 10. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 8-10. Rustburg lost 44-38 in their recent league match against Heritage (Lynchburg, VA)
