In Friday's league contest, the host Baptist Prep Eagles basketball team scored a good 67-48 triumph over the Atkins Red Devils.
The Eagles (20-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dover (Dover, AR). The Pirates go into the 3A Region 5 contest with a 26-0 record. In their last contest, Dover topped Harmony Grove (Benton, AR), 63-17, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR) in a 3A Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Atkins will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 14-10 record after their 60-31 league win over Glen Rose (Malvern, AR).
