The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) and the host Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA), observed Atlantic's basketball team overwhelm Denison-Schleswig by a score of 58-23.

The Trojans (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Harlan (Harlan, IA). The Cyclones come into the Hawkeye Ten challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Harlan trounced Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA), 63-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Monarchs encounter the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Denison-Schleswig will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 47-34 league win over Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA).
