Kansas High School Basketball - Axtell tipped by Hanover

The Hanover Wildcats nipped the visiting Axtell Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 43-38 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Doniphan West Mustangs (Highland, KS) in a Twin Valley outing, on Friday, February 14. Hanover will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 13-4 record after their 57-51 league loss to Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS).

The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE). The Indians enter the non-league outing with a 6-14 record. In their last outing, Pawnee City was nipped by Southern (Wymore, NE), 46-28, in a non-league outing.
