California High School Basketball - Bear River overwhelms Oakmont

February 7, 2025: Roseville, CA 95661

The Bear River Bruins basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Oakmont Vikings to 39 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now possess a 17-8 record. They play next when they host Wheatland for a Pioneer Valley League game on Wednesday, February 12. Bear River will confront a Pirates team coming off a 58-27 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-19.

With the loss, Oakmont falls to 17-9 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Colfax (Colfax, CA) to battle the Falcons in a Pioneer Valley League contest on Wednesday, February 12. The Falcons go into the contest with a record of 20-6. Colfax won 71-23 in their recent league contest against Center (Antelope, CA)
