In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Paint Branch Panthers basketball team scored a good 53-39 triumph over the Blake Bengals.
The Panthers (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was toppled by Blair (Silver Spring, MD), 51-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bengals confront the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Blake will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 50-32 non-league win over Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD).
