The Broughton Capitals basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Sanderson Spartans to 18 in the Capitals league triumph on Friday.

The Capitals now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Athens Drive for a 4A CAP 6 game on Tuesday, February 11. Broughton will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 53-20 league win over Enloe (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Sanderson falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to confront the Crusaders in a 4A CAP 6 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 7-13. Cardinal Gibbons lost 64-45 in their recent league game against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC)
