The Brusly Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Port Allen Pelicans to 25 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 16-16 record. They play next when they host West Feliciana for a 4A District 6 battle on Tuesday, February 11. Brusly will meet a Saints squad coming off a 36-33 league loss to St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Saints record now stands at 21-5.
The Pelicans now own a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John for a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. Port Allen will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 44-25 non-league win over False River (New Roads, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-9.
