The Cougars (16-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians come into the Shenandoah challenge with a 2-15 record. In their last challenge, Fort Defiance was tipped by Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA), 61-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bison encounter the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a Shenandoah challenge, on Monday, February 10. Buffalo Gap will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Green Hornets come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 54-46 league win over Staunton (Staunton, VA).
