The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Burroughs Bombers (St. Louis, MO) and the host Pattonville Pirates (Maryland Heights, MO), observed Burroughs's basketball team overcome Pattonville by a score of 50-42.

The Bombers (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Rock Bridge defeated St. Joseph's Academy (St. Louis, MO), 51-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Pattonville will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 45-44 league loss to Ladue Horton Watkins (St. Louis, MO).
