In Friday's league contest, the host Cadillac Vikings basketball team scored a good 50-37 triumph over the Petoskey Northmen.
The Vikings (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alpena (Alpena, MI). The Wildcats go into the Big North contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Alpena topped Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI), 59-55, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Northmen battle the Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Petoskey will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 63-34 non-league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
