Kentucky High School Basketball - Marshall County knocks off Calloway County

February 7, 2025: Benton, KY 42025

In Friday's league contest, the host Marshall County Marshals basketball team scored a good 55-44 win over the Calloway County Lakers.

The Marshals (20-6) will now prepare for their contest against Todd County Central (Elkton, KY). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Todd County Central dropped by Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 80-56, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lakers battle the Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Calloway County will attempt to better on its 21-4 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 22-2 record after their 53-38 league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, KY).
