Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host CAM Cougars (Anita, IA), 56-49 in a league match.

With the victory, Exira-EHK advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Underwood (Underwood, IA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-12.

The Cougars now own a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ar-We-Va for a Rolling Valley match on Monday, February 10. CAM will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 58-38 league loss to Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 4-16.
