The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the La Salle Falcons (Milwaukie, OR) and the host Canby Cougars (Canby, OR), observed La Salle's basketball team knock off Canby by a score of 55-40.

The Falcons (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Hood River Valley (Hood River, OR). The Eagles come into the 5A Northwest Oregon challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Hood River Valley prevailed over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OR), 37-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon challenge, on Monday, February 10. Canby will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 48-41 league win over Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR).
