The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cascade Champions (Wartrace, TN) and the host Forrest Rockets (Chapel Hill, TN), observed Cascade's basketball team edge Forrest by a score of 49-44.

The Champions (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Community (Unionville, TN). The Vikings/Viqueens come into the 2A District 9 challenge with a 9-16 record. In their last challenge, Community was tipped by Grundy County (Coalmont, TN), 53-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets encounter the Fayetteville Tigers (Fayetteville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Forrest will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record.
