Virginia High School Basketball - William Byrd holds off Cave Spring

In Friday's non-league contest, the host William Byrd Terriers basketball team scored a close 50-46 triumph over the Cave Spring Knights.
The Terriers (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings go into the Blue Ridge contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, Northside was tipped by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 47-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Knights confront the Hidden Valley Titans (Roanoke, VA) in a River Ridge contest, on Monday, February 10. Cave Spring will attempt to better on its 5-16 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 10-10 record after their 53-49 league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).
