The Jeanerette Tigers (Jeanerette, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, LA), 65-31 in Friday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kinder for a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. Jeanerette will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 46-37 league win over Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 19-7.
With the loss, Centerville falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA) to play the Eagles in a 1A District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 22-7. Central Catholic won 56-24 in their recent non-league bout against Berwick (Berwick, LA)
