Colorado High School Basketball - Lewis-Palmer triumphant over Cheyenne Mountain

February 7, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80906

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) and the host Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO), observed Lewis-Palmer's basketball team overwhelm Cheyenne Mountain by a margin of 48-19.

The Rangers (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears come into the 5A/4A Pikes Peak challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Palmer Ridge was trounced by Lutheran (Parker, CO), 45-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Red-Tailed Hawks battle the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Kadets come into the challenge with a 19-0 record after their 74-39 league win over Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO).
