Maryland High School Basketball - Churchill holds off Whitman

The Churchill Bulldogs basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Whitman Vikings to 43 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase for a Freelance game on Friday, February 14. Churchill will confront a Barons team coming off a 60-34 non-league win over Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Barons record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Whitman falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD) to confront the Wildcats in a Montgomery County - 4A South game on Monday, February 10. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 15-3. Walter Johnson won 61-50 in their recent league game against Wootton (Rockville, MD)
